Ringerike Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band ref: 4003.4

Ringerike Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band

Ringerike play a huge range of folk music for both listening and dancing to. They are no ordinary folk band. As classically trained musicians, they "put the music" into folk. With such a wide repertoire they can put on specific Irish, or Scottish ceilidhs, or play a wide range of national and international music.

You define the style of event you want - folk music ranges from some of the most moving and lyrical music in existence to wild, raucous and steamy. Ringerike love it all! Never danced before? Don't worry, our caller will guide you through. Ceilidhing is fun for all.

Note: the music samples are of Ringerike playing as a four piece band.

Either a mixture of Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh & European folk music, or we can put on a totally Irish or Scottish Ceilidh.

Our friends and family were very impressed with the standard and quality of music played and chosen. In fact my cousin, from Scotland, who regularly attends ceilidhs stated that "That was the best ceilidh she'd been at!." High praise indeed!"
