The SB Scottish Ceilidh / Country Dance Band ref: 4560.1

An all Scottish ceilidh band. Although only formed as a ceilidh band in 2005, the individual players have been playing music in folk bands for many years. The band is ideal for the smaller venue and for any type of event such as weddings, parties, anniversaries etc. The basic line up comprises of fiddle, accordion and guitar but a number of other instruments are also played for certain pieces e.g. whistle, harp, octave fiddle, continental chromatice accordion and mandolin.

Wedding	Just wanted to let you know that Kate and her colleagues were brilliant on Saturday. She was both patient and gentle with the beginners and was absolutely ideal for a mixed ability group We are generally extremely cautious about recommending any service but for a wedding breakfast such as ours with a Scottish groom and an English bride we cannot praise her enough and would recommend Kate and her colleagues unreservedly.
Burns Night RAF base	Dear Derek and Margaret Just to let you know that our booking with the (SB) band went well on Friday night, despite a big question mark over the weather and travel. Kate and her band were top notch, playing a good range of music during the meal which was well received and ensuring the dance floor was always full later. A great night was had by all.. 	I am just writing to thank you for everything you did for us on Saturday. Lots of people have told us what a fantastic evening they had, and it was clear to see how much people were enjoying the dancing and the music. We must keep in touch, not least because the evening was such a success that we would like to make it an annual event, if not even more regular!
