The NU Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band

This band have been performing their own particular brand of traditional English, Irish and Scottish music for a while now. The current 5 piece + caller line-up seems to have got people talking about them and they have been very busy recently playing pubs, folk clubs, universities and private parties.

Founder member, Joe (Guitar and Vocals), and long time members Steve (Bass) and Brendan (Bouzouki, Mandolin, Guitar) have now been joined by two outstanding instrumentalists. Sarah plays Fiddle, Recorder and provides some vocals too whilst Ann adds a whole new sound to the band with her Flute, Whistle and Recorder. For ceilis and barn dances the band are also joined by the multi-talented Birgitta who plays fiddle and calls the dances.

The band are available to play ceilis, garden parties, corporate functions, birthdays, weddings, pubs and pretty much any other kind of event.

The band play Scottish, Irish, English, American music but can also offer a whole Irish or Scottish evening. They include a host of vocal numbers.

Testimonials

WeddingWe just wanted to say a huge big thank you for playing at our wedding last week. We really enjoyed our day and it was made even more special with the band playing. We have had some really good compliments about the music. Would you please send us some cards so that we can pass these on to anyone who is looking for a band like yourself.
Corporate Drinks Party"I wanted to thank you again for your magnificent performance last night! You were all brilliant and an absolute pleasure to have at the Party! We really do appreciate your efforts of transporting all of your instruments and equipment to Norwich, sound checking until perfection was reached and then giving a wonderful performance with such enthusiasm - it really made the night special for the Partners and their guests!"
This was the third time I've been to the annual village ceili. Thanks for another great evening guys. I laughed, I danced, I tapped my feet but mostly I just had a great time. Can't wait for next year!
