The WG Barn Dance/Ceilidh Band ref: 4941.1

The WG Ceilidh Band are a lively five piece band. Chris their dedicated caller is on the floor with the dancers demonstrating what to do and helping people with the dances, throughout the evening. Instruments played include fiddle, guitar, vocals, bass, mandolin, mandola and either cajon or drums. They play ceilidhs / barn dances for wedding, parties, corporate events, fundraisers, etc. great fun and a lovely way to get people to mix with each other and stay fit.
The band offer a range of easy but enjoyable dances plus a wide range of songs and tunes from folk to pop to reggae for the “in-between bits”.

The dances / tunes for the dances are English, Irish, Scottish and American with others such as Horses Brawl.

	You came to us and made our night. I had to come up with a fun filled evening as 'entertainments committee', and for the previous two years had done a sit down dinner, with a fabulous magician entertaining us. He was 'out of magic', and couldn't do us for another year without boring us (his words!), so on that note I had to come up with something that was going to compete with an already successful formula.....and you were it!!! I can honestly say that I couldn't have asked for better. Birthday	Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest of the band. I had a fantastic party last Saturday and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Whilst I knew there would be a good core of dancers, you managed to get more people up and dancing than I had ever expected so well done!!! I'll be back in touch for my 50th (unless I can come up with another excuse for a party before then).
Wedding	We just wanted to thank you all for playing at our wedding. It was so special and we will never EVER forget it, seeing everyone dancing together and having such a wonderful time was so perfect! Thank you so much for helping us to have the best day of our lives
Wedding	I think its safe to say that all the guests enjoyed listening and dancing to your music and it was lovely to see guests of all ages dancing with one another - it really got the two families mixing. Once again many thanks - you're a brilliant band and we all loved it.
40th Birthday	I just wanted to thank you all so much for making my 40th birthday party at The Rugby Club very very special. I couldn't have hoped for a more perfect Ceilidh band. You provided us with fabulous music, expert calling to help us dance the night away and a brilliant atmosphere. Friends and family had great fun, there were people on that dance floor I wouldn't have expected to see!!! I cannot recommend you highly enough
