The VE Wind trio

The VE ensemble are a wind trio consisting of flute, oboe and clarinet who are currently working on new commissions involving electronics, visual arts and percussion.

With a wide variety of repertoire including Beethoven, Holst, Malcolm Arnold and Alastair Cuninghame, the trio have performed at different venues and events from formal concerts to private functions and weddings.

As well as public performances, the VE Wind Trio also play within the community having given concerts at Ladywell Day Care Centre and are planning workshops for local schools. All three members are experienced teachers.

The VE Wind trio was formed in 2010; all three members attend Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where they study with Anna Noakes, Jo Lively and Michael Whight. As an ensemble they have received coaching from such eminent musicians such as Joan Enric Lluna, Stephen Maw and Szabolcs Zempleni.
