The PW Ceilidh Band is a group of folk musicians that provides a selection of traditional dance music in English, Scottish and Irish styles. Their main activity is the Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) or Barn Dance, although they also take bookings for fetes, private parties and corporate functions.
The band provides entertainment throughout the evening, interspersing the dances with songs and tunes. Their sound system is more than enough for the largest of ballrooms, village halls, marquees etc. No dancing knowledge is needed. Martina, their expert caller will explain what to do before each dance and then shout the moves as you progress through the dance. The PW Band aim to get you to enjoy yourselves and mix with everyone - ideal for weddings, birthday parties, dinner events etc
