This family based ceilidh band are from East Yorkshire, and are available for hire at folk festivals, wedding receptions, parties, fund-raisers, and corporate events. The NFB Band hail from Yorkshire and are a "power trio" of melodeon, fiddle and percussion. The band regularly plays for private functions in Holmfirth. They have a mixed repertoire of the English and Scottish styles, or can stick to all the Scottish standards if you want a more traditional Scottish experience. They have a full sound and a rhythm that's sure to get everyone up and dancing, and their caller will take everyone through the dance steps. They supply all the required equipment, PAT tested and covered by PLI.
Paul's Compact Ceilidh is one of our "one person band" ceilidh artists. Paul calls the dances and also plays melodeon. A fun band for a wedding or party in Holmfirth. Paul is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist playing in many bands - he knows his stuff and is able to get you all dancing, regardless of your age or expertise! He also brings all required equipment with him (all PAT tested and covered by PLI) and is ideal for intimate or quirky venues where there might not be space for a full band.

Many moons ago, three men were born in Sheffield and played rock music together. Many less moons ago two women grew up in Wales and played folk music beautifully. Eventually the women went to university in Sheffield and the OK Ceilidh Band, blending traditional ceilidh fun with a driving rhythm and backing, was born.
