Paul's Compact Ceilidh is one of our "one person band" ceilidh artists. Paul calls the dances and also plays melodeon. Kippax is within this band’s local area for dances. Paul is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist playing in many bands - he knows his stuff and is able to get you all dancing, regardless of your age or expertise! He also brings all required equipment with him (all PAT tested and covered by PLI) and is ideal for intimate or quirky venues where there might not be space for a full band.

Many moons ago, three men were born in Sheffield and played rock music together. Many less moons ago two women grew up in Wales and played folk music beautifully. Eventually the women went to university in Sheffield and the OK Ceilidh Band, blending traditional ceilidh fun with a driving rhythm and backing, was born.
