George draws his inspiration for his piano and vocals from the likes of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

This 6-piece jazz function band has a line-up of female singer, trombone, saxophones/woodwind, piano, double-bass and drums. Tthe band are ideal for corporate functions, parties, weddings, balls and dinners, and will provide anything you request from light dinner music to lively up-beat tempos for dancing. The GL Jazz Trio are a distinctive trad/dixie trio based firmly Up North. Not just any Jazz Trio, this trio will be welcome at any Normanton venue. With a classic lineup of sousaphone, banjo and trombone, these boys can deliver an unforgettable experience. They're much more than the usual jazz band - 1920s songs, speciality tunes, banjo virtuosity and a magnificent selection of waistcoats are all on the cards. This is a quality trio delivering a polished, professional performance at every gig. Jon on saxes is a graduate of Nottingham University and is exceptionally talented on his instrument.
