The DL Jazz Duo

This Duo are considered as one of the foremost ambassadors for the preservation of the music of the Great American Songbook in the United Kingdom. The Great American Songbook offers a dazzling parade of American popular songs as seen and heard in some of the most beloved films and musicals ever made. Their concert repertoire includes the works of composers such as Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Cole Porter.

They recently appeared on the One Show on BBC 1 alongside the legendary Tony Bennett. Other television and radio credits include BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Lincolnshire and Songs of Praise.

In June they performed at Trafalgar Square as part of West End Live musical theatre festival in front of an audience of 10,000 people alongside musicals including Chicago, Jersey Boys, Wicked and Mamma Mia. Previous performances have included Royal Albert Hall, Banqueting House, Althorp House, BAFTA Awards, Hay Festival, Millennium Stadium, Wales Millennium Centre, Hard Rock Café and the Algonquin Hotel in New York City. A recent performance took them to Orlando, Florida to perform a concert as part of the Enchanted Evenings at the Waldorf Astoria series. They have performed for her Majesty the Queen and HRH Prince of Wales.
