The JB Ceilidh Band will provide an energetic ceilidh experience with this multi-talented acoustic trio, who play enchanting and melody-driven music for dancers.

The JB Band are a new ceilidh band formed by a collective desire to create uplifting tune music for jiggin' aboot. Morag, their caller, will lead you through all the familiar Scottish dances plus more from around the world. The band incorporate arrangements of their own compositions into the repertoire.

The band's lineup is Morag (fiddle and calling), Lewis (bouzouki, accordion), and Johnny (fiddle, banjo). Individually, and collectively they have made music in some fairly odd situations - at turnip festivals, in rowing boats, in tipis, dressed as insects and shrimps. They are therefore open to any suggestions that you might have. They sometimes play with a percussionist, usually bodhran, particularly where a 'bigger' sound is required, although this will incur an extra charge.
