The PS Ceilidh Band

A barn dance or ceilidh needs a good caller and appropriate live music. This band's caller, Irene, has a lifetime of experience in dancing and knows how to put over the fun elements of dancing. Her clear instruction makes everyone feel comfortable, from complete beginners to experts, both young and old. The band is made up from hand picked, very experienced, musicians, with a vast repertoire of tunes which are selected on the night (or afternoon) to suit the particular requirements of your event. Fitting in with your party arrangements, your guests feel confident and relaxed with this barn dance and ceilidh band.

The audio clips are all live recordings.

Testimonials

Wedding....we just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for bringing your wonderful barn dance band to our wedding day in September. We really loved all the pieces you played and you got everybody dancing and smiling for several hours outside in the sunshine which is exactly what we hoped for. A large number of the guests of all ages said how much they enjoyed listening and dancing it was a pleasure having you around. It made the day more special and we won't hesitate to recommend you to friends and family or to use you again.
Anniversary Party"Stewart and I would like to thank you very much for making our ruby wedding anniversary party go with a swing! You made the Barn Dance such fun and very easy for people to take part in with very clear instructions! We really appreciated your flexibility, i.e. your collaboration with Mark’s spiral dance and your impromptu accompaniment to Mary’s song ‘You are my sunshine’ was really lovely! Thank you so much!"
Evening eventThe social team, on behalf of Junction 14 Ladies Chorus would like to say a big Thank You for helping make our 'special' evening not just a success, but one that will certainly be remembered. The comments received were glowing, many saying 'the best night ever'. Thanks once again, we will certainly recommend you to others.
EventI would just like to say a big thank you for performing at our ExtraCare event this week. It was great to see the residents enjoy themselves and learn some new dances. The atmosphere when you walked into the room was brilliant and you could see from the faces of the residents they were having a great time. I was really pleased to see you get residents involved who are in wheelchairs. For them to have the dance floor to themselves and do their own style of dance was really touching and made this event inclusive for everybody.
