"Acacia is a thirty acre leisure, business and social complex consisting of a Grade Two Listed Mansion House suitable for business meetings and weddings. The grounds also house a Multi-Purpose Sports Centre complete with a dance studio and sports fields. The Acacia Ballroom with capacity for up to three hundred and twenty people, is ideal for weddings, parties and corporate events. The classical Grade II listed Mansion House now known as Acacia Hall was built on land originally granted to Michael de Wallensi in 1261. Today this historic mansion with nine acres of landscaped gardens on the banks of the River Darent has been licensed to perform civil wedding ceremonies. The majestic Mansion House, the enchanting gardens, the sun glistening on the river, the perfect setting for the perfect day."
