"The Grand (formerly known as Thistle Bristol) dates from the Victorian age, when local hero IK Brunel reshaped Bristol - and the world - with engineering feats like the Clifton Suspension Bridge and SS Great Britain. In a city that?s no stranger to major feats of construction we?ve been engaged in extensive refurbishment works of our own. We?ve completed refurbishment of the majority of our bedrooms and have fully refurbished our spectacular Wessex Suite and Grand Ballroom resulting in a more modern and contemporary look and feel whilst retaining the hotel?s Victorian charm. We?re currently refurbishing our Restaurant and reception which completes at the beginning of July. Located in the city centre, The Grand is a quiet haven in the heart of buzzing Bristol. And you don?t have to worry about parking, as we have our own car park on-site, at an additional charge for overnight stay."
