"Originally a large period farmhouse and outbuildings, The Rivenhall Hotel was considerably extended and converted to a hotel in the 1960's. The hotel has 55 bedrooms, seven conference rooms and an attractive bistro and bar. In addition it has the considerable benefit of a comprehensive health club boasting among other facilities; a swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, solarium and gym. The Rivenhall Hotel offers a magnificent venue and some of the best catering in Essex. Licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can accommodate up to 100 guests for the wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening buffet reception in our beautiful Courtyard Suite. Alternatively, for smaller weddings our traditional oak beamed Lincoln Suite can accommodate up to 40 guests for a sit down meal or 60 guests for an evening reception. For couples wishing to reside at The Rivenhall Hotel on their wedding night, a Bridal suite is available."
