The WT Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band ref: 4082.2
This experienced band play Irish, Scottish, English and American songs and tunes, although they can concentrate on one particular style if preferred. They play as 3 or 4 piece + caller. The band are both sensitive to the occasion and responsive to the mood of the audience. In addition they are willing to tailor a band to meet specific needs, going out in combinations ranging from a duo of guitar/vocals plus accordion to a larger band incorporating instruments such as fiddle, flute tin-whistle, double bass or snare drum.
Clients have included Mick Jagger, British Airways and the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders whilst venues include The Royal Festival Hall, Pinewood Studios, Tate Gallery of Modern Art and Gleneagles Hotel.

The WT Band have a huge repertoire of tunes for dancing and listening to, as well as many songs. Dances include; Barn Dance; Big Set; Circassian Circle; Circle Waltz; Cumberland Square Eights; Danish Waltz; Dashing White Sergeant; Gay Gordons; Hokey Cokey; I Want to be near you; Seige of Ennis; Strip the Willow; Virginia Reel.
The band are equally at home doing a song-based performance as they are playing tunes for a dance. Their repertoire ranges from humorous songs such as "The Rare Old Mountain Dew" "Seven Drunken Nights" through old time waltzes to popular favourites such as "Wild Rover" and "Fleur of Scotland".
