Harpist - Elinor ref: 2105
Elinor has a formidable reputation on the international stage. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, she has played with most of Britain's major orchestras and appeared as a soloist in London's main concert halls. As well as extensive tours in Europe, she has appeared in Japan, Australia and the USA.
Elinor broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio 3 and appears frequently on radio and television in Wales. A number of major contemporary composers have written works specially for her. To date she has made twelve solo recordings covering a wide range of music for different types of harp. Her recorded work has captivated and enchanted audiences worldwide. No wonder, then, that wherever she goes - from Cardiff to Canberra - she can be sure of a welcome from music lovers eager to hear her play live.
Elinor's wide repertoire encompasses many styles and periods. She is equally at home with the music of contemporary composers as she is in the traditional music of her native Wales.
