The CR Scottish Ceilidh Band ref: 4564
An all Scottish ceilidh band. They are one of the best up and coming three piece Scottish Country Dance Bands in their part of the country. The band are experienced in Scottish Music for Weddings, Social Dances and all events. Over the years they have built up a strong reputation through "word of mouth" within the Scottish dance club fraternity. The line-up consists of fiddle, accordion percussion and caller.
With their caller to guide both beginners and refresh the memories for others, the band will happily take you through all the familiar Scottish ceilidh dances up to the 'Eightsome Reel' level (and beyond if requested ).
However, the band are also willing to adapt the dances to be slightly less complicated if preferred -- but still provide the same exacting standard of authentic Scottish traditional music which has become known and loved in all corners of the globe. And -- of course -- they will dress to suit the occasion.
|Wedding||"Both Joe and I wanted to thank you and the rest of the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. The music was great and all our guests had a wonderful time - the steps were also well tailored for beginners! Many thanks, a good time was had by all"|
|Family Party||Mary thank you and the rest of your team for Saturday night. I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it and what a complete success it was. The feed back the next day was excellent. So thanks. Giles|
|Birthday Party||Just a quick e-mail to thank yourself, Susan, Derek and Fred for a fantastic evening last night. We have had so many messages this morning saying what a great time everyone had and how much fun it was. It was great that so many people dressed up too and were dancing, if a bit badly at times. Susan definitely had her work cut out. Best wishes for your forthcoming events and thanks again for a brilliant performance and helping make Ann's party such a memorable occasion.|
|Anniversary party||"This is just to send you a most sincerely heartfelt thank-you from all of us for such a superb evening last night. Everyone has been saying what huge fun it was and how amazing that just about everyone was up on the dance floor most of the time. We also much enjoyed some of the dances we did not know so well, particularly the "Virginia Reel", and "Circassian Circle" was definitely a good choice for the starter. Even my Scottish family were saying how well the band played - good tunes, good pace and the right volume. Thanks again and all good wishes."|
