The TL Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band ref: 4881.5

The TL Ceilidh Band is highly professional and features musicians who have played from Cornwall to Shetland and from Sweden to Australia. The TL Band's key to ceilidh/barn dance success is the ‘no pressure, it’s all about the fun’ approach taken by their caller, and the strong vocal line-up, supported by instrumentation on fiddles, bouzouki, mandolin, guitar and double bass. Prices displayed are for 3 musicians plus caller, but the band is also available up to 5 musicians plus caller to suit style, budget and availability. Several of the musicians are singers, and the caller also plays guitar and ethnic percussion depending on the rest of the line-up.

Since 1999, they have delivered well received performances at many events, from music festivals and clubs to corporate and private events and parties, and with live and recorded appearances on BBC Radio Scotland, Radio 4, local, European and US radio. The band can offer a whole evening in Celtic style with an Irish or Scottish theme. They can also feature a lot of American music. They sing and play tunes during breaks.

50th Birthday Party	I would like to say that the band we booked on Saturday night were brilliant. It was probably the coldest night of the year, and they kept going in very cold conditions, and managed to get everyone dancing and the evening went well. Birthday	I have to write and thank you all for making last Saturday evening such a special occasion; we felt very privileged to have such superb musicians playing for us. So many people commented on the excellent music - both dancers and non-dancers - and the dancers all had great fun. Even Kevin, my husband, who never dances really enjoyed himself much to his surprise! - a minor miracle! And the folk singing made such a good ending to the evening.

Birthday	I just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks to the band that came on 30th December for our ceilidh. We had a really great night and the band were absolutely brilliant, really accommodating and made the atmosphere really vibrant. It was a great 40th birthday, thank you!
Wedding Anniversary	Thank you so much for playing/calling for our barn dance last night, we were a little anxious about booking a band we'd never heard of over the internet, but the music really was superb and we had a fantastic evening. There were lots of musical friends at our party and many of them commented on the excellent quality of both the vocals and the instruments.
