The VY String Quartet ref: 6193

The VY String Quartet is made up of four professional musicians all of whom have trained at the UK's finest music colleges. With over 5 years experience in providing elegant live music for weddings and events this quartet provides you with total piece of mind and an outstanding quality of performance.

All four members of the quartet lead varied freelance careers and have played with various orchestras across the UK. Their players have been selected on various occasions to receive awards from the Birmingham Conservatoire, the place in which they met. The awards include the prestigious Tracy Colvin award for Orchestral Excellence as well as the Birmingham Conservatoire Principals Prize awarded for outstanding excellence and contribution to the life of the Conservatoire.

Their comprehensive repertoire spans classical to pop and jazz; anything from Vivaldi to the Beatles and even Take That and Bruno Mars!
