The OB Band are one of the most respected barn dance bands in the North West. They specialise in playing for ceilidhs, barn dances and hoedowns. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Lancaster. The band's danceable and foot-tapping sound is based on a varied range of instruments - melodeon, banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass.

Many moons ago, three men were born in Sheffield and played rock music together. Many less moons ago two women grew up in Wales and played folk music beautifully. Eventually the women went to university in Sheffield and the OK Ceilidh Band, blending traditional ceilidh fun with a driving rhythm and backing, was born.
