The musicians and the caller in the JR Barn Dance Band are all very experienced at barn dances, with much experience gained at Leeds Castle in the 80s and 90s. the South East is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. The dances are not too complicated and are delivered in a laid back yet engaging way for all those attending who have never been to a Barn Dance before. Their material is based around American folk, with a strong Scottish influence. They have a top class sound system capable of coping with the largest of venues.
An all American Barn Dance Band. The BH Band was formed in 1998, and the current line up is John on Mandolin & vocals, Bob on Banjo, Ray on guitar & vocals, Nye on Bass and James on fiddle.
Whilst their mainstream is bluegrass music, their varied repertoire of acoustic music includes country and folk numbers, 50’s and 60’s pop, Irish favourites and jazz standards. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to the South East.

The SPBand are a lively and enthusiastic band with a wealth of experience, who have been playing music together since the early 1990s. The band plays barn dance music for all social occasions. This is a vibrant eight piece band, providing a variety of music for social dance and listening. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to the South East. They are guaranteed to get your foot tapping! They play a lot of good tunes, some that are rarely heard in dance bands, plus some fresh arrangements of tried and trusted standards
The band comprises Fiddles, Melodeons, Flute and Whistles, Acoustic Double Bass, Percussion, Mandolins and Guitars.
They work with some entertaining "Callers" and they also have some fine singers!
The KF Ceilidh band has been bringing parties to life for more than 10 years with their exciting music and their professional touch. An ideal Barn Dance Band for a wedding or party in the South East. Their basic line-up of accordion, violin, drums and bass is sometimes augmented by a mandolin or clarinet and the sound is vibrant and energetic. They are composed of professional musicians who have a passion for delivering a polished performance which is guaranteed to help your party, wedding or function go with a swing! They bring an experienced, competent (and patient!!) caller who can ensure everyone has a great time. The TA Barn Dance Band have a line up of two musicians and a caller/musician, which can include fiddle, bodhran, piper, guitar or flute. Their caller loves diverse groups and is happy to adapt to two left feet or really experienced groups. They provide a joyful combination of music and dance and some fine fiddling when the dancers need to put their feet up.
Their music includes reels, jigs, hornpipes, polkas and waltzes.
