The GL Jazz Trio are a distinctive trad/dixie trio based firmly Up North. Billingham is within this Jazz Band’s local performance area. The GH Trio consists of George on piano and vocals, plus bass and drums. The Jazz Band plays regularly in Billingham from weddings to charity events.. George is a jazz pianist and vocalist who studied at Leeds Conservatoire. He specialises in music from the Great American Songbook.
George draws his inspiration for his piano and vocals from the likes of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
This is a quality trio delivering a polished, professional performance at every gig. Jon on saxes is a graduate of Nottingham University and is exceptionally talented on his instrument.
