The Ringerike Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band ref: 4003.1
Ringerike is an experienced 3-piece or 4-piece ceilidh and barn dance band. Our aim is to provide a high quality of music and a great night’s entertainment for everyone – ideal for weddings, parties, corporate events and a wide range of occasions. The band is comprised of accomplished professional musicians and usually features fiddle and guitar along with flute/whistle, accordion and/or bass. One of the musicians always doubles as caller to give easily followed instructions so that everyone can join in all of the dances.
We have a wide repertoire of English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, American and European music to suit all tastes. In a typical evening we’ll include a number of different dances, all of them easy to learn, interspersed with some music to listen to so that everyone can get their breath back. However, we’re also happy to play as a session band for events (or for part of the evening) where there’s no dancing. The band brings its own PA equipment which is all PAT tested, and is covered by PLI insurance.

| Wedding | Dear Esther & the wonderful Ringerike Celidth band, Rhys & I are so very grateful that we chose you to play at our wedding on May 14th at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa. You made the evening extremely special, with a room full of laughter & smiles. The morning after, a group of our drama school friends were recapping the 'heel toe, heel toe' section. I do apologise that it was extremely loud in that room and hope you know that your efforts in teaching and entertaining were much appreciated and loved.
