The NJS Jazz Quartet ref: 6179.1

The NJS Quartet are a group of four professional musicians from the south led by Sarah on sax, flute, clarinet and vocals. The band share a love of melodic, rhythmic jazz and enjoy pushing the boundaries of the idiom with both a variety of well known jazz favourites and more obscure choices. Often billed as ‘Count Basie to Carole King’, the band enjoy a wide repertoire and appeal to audiences of all ages.

All musicians have worked on the music scene for many years appearing at a number of Jazz festivals including IOW, Swanage, Scarborough and Lyme Regis and appeared recently at venues including Pizza Express Dean Street and Toulouse Lautrec in Kennington. Sarah has run her own band since 2001, as well as freelancing and recording with many other bands over the years and teaches in local schools.

Sarah can mould the band size and set list to your own requirements, from duo to an 8 piece to make flexible for any event from a garden party, wedding, festival or concert.
