The GP Rock Band ref: 6422
The GP Rock Band formed in 2014 and have played over 300 gigs all over the north west of England. They play covers by AC/DC, WhiteSnake, ZZ Top, Queen, The Knack, Bon Jovi, Tina Turner, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Adele, Rainbow, Kings of Leon, Tears for Fears, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton and many more...
Their singer, David, has sung with Europe, Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden tribute bands, as well as working with Iron Maiden to set up the CliveAid charity. He has toured the UK (including the Shetland Isles!), Norway, Holland, Belgium, Malta and Philadelphia.
Neil (drummer) recorded with Chris Sievey & The Freshies in the 70s and played with the Eurythmics for a few shows in the 80s. He was on "Jilted John" and "Living in a box", and has recently played with AC/DC, Kiss and Free tribute bands as well as 5th Element, The Wrangling and Zero Gravity.
Steve (bass) has been playing in pubs and clubs since the mid 70s in bands such as Portland Bill, White Noice and Hi-Fire.
Dave (guitar) appeared on Granada TV in 1968, played in the Robbie's Angels Tribute band from 1999 - 2002 and more recently has performed with Spy Candy. Their gigs included Liverpool's Mathew Street Festival, the Coronation Street Christmas party, Coors Brewery party, at the NATO headquarters, Manchester Academy, Thurxton, Catterick and Haydock Racecourses and many, many more!
