The Water Boatmen ref: 6695

The Water Boatmen are a traditional ceilidh and barn dance band, playing music that will get your feet a-tapping and your toes a-twitching! Their music comes from all parts of the United Kingdom, including Scottish Ceilidh and English Barn Dance. They have a friendly caller who is happy to tailor dances on the night to suit your schedule and your dancers. They are a three piece band (plus caller) and they've played just about everywhere, for just about every type of occasion!

The Water Boatmen play in and around Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, with a great traditional lineup of melodeon (squeezebox), fiddle and bass. The band have played for weddings, birthdays, anniversary parties, blessing ceremonies, Burns Night events, socials, and many many more. Their caller will explain each dance before it starts so that nobody is at a disadvantage. Their caller chooses dances to fit the occasion and the dancing prowess of the audience and will keep a watchful eye on those with 2 left feet and no ability to differentiate between right and left. They will play low-level, background recorded music in the break in the middle of your ceilidh, and they come with all required equipment.
