The excellent The CP String Trio will discuss the music for your entrance, the signing of the register, and as you make your exit. A string quartet will change it's playing style and volume level to suite the situation. So it is suitable for an intimate situation with a small audience, to a large wedding. "The Guildhall can be traced back as far as the Stuart period. The main chamber with it's curved ceiling and coat of arms was once the local court. The main body of the building including the Mayor's Parlour was built in 1887 on the site of the town's lock-up. With stunning views across the sea to Charmouth and West Bay merely a few feet outside the Guildhall, some may argue it to be the perfect backdrop for any wedding photography. If you are contemplating holding your ceremony in the Guildhall, you are welcome to view the room first. We hope that you choose to share your special day with us and we look forward to welcoming you to Lyme Regis.
