"The Knowle is a fine Victorian Gothic Mansion set in 14 acres of orchards and old English gardens. Built in 1840 by the rector of Higham and now the home of Lynn and Michael Baragwanath. Specializes in wedding receptions, conferences, private parties etc. where there are facilities for dancing with emphasis on individual and quality catering. The intimate surroundings and quiet luxury are complemented by the friendly and relaxed atmosphere where emphasis is placed on English fayre, fresh produce and traditional cooking with a regularly changing menu."
