A string quartet uses acoustic instruments, so usually there is no need for amplification equipment, and time consuming and obtrusive setup. The function suite at Witney Lakes Resort offers a beautiful lakeside setting perfect for timeless wedding photographs. The room itself overlooks the impressive Witney Lakes, which create a calm and relaxing ambience ideal for your special day. Weather permitting, you may descend from the Function Suite down the spiral staircase onto the patio area - a delightful setting to hold reception drinks or simply enjoy the views during proceedings. They are also licensed for the performance of civil ceremonies - these are held in the St. Andrews room which can accomodate up to a maximum of 100 guests with theatre style seating. This area is accessed by a seperate entrance to the main reception and leads through double doors into a spacious foyer area. St Andrews can be 'Dressed to Impress' (as the exmaple pictures show) for extra costs."
