"The impressive 100 foot tower of Tattershall Castle dominates the landscape. This red brick medieval castle was built by Ralph Cromwell, Lord Treasurer to King Henry VI, one of the most powerful men in England. Tattershall stands in its own grounds with two moats and bridges.The Parlour at Tattershall Castle is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Photographs can be taken in the grounds.The Parlour is on the Ground Floor of Tattershall Castle. Its stained glass windows depict the coat of arms of former owners of Tattershall and it has the finest chimneypiece in the Castle, and has a capacity of 90. Civil wedding ceremonies can be held at Tattershall. Ceremonies take place on Thursdays and Fridays, between 11am and 4pm or on a Saturday at 11am between April and October. Winter weddings may also take place and can be discussed with the Property Manager."
