"Open to both residents and non-residents the hotel, an elegant Georgian mansion, is registered with the AA, Heart of England Tourist Board and ABTA. Grade II listed and built in 1805, it is set in fifteen acres of the most beautiful parkland and was once owned by the Duke of Portland. There are ten bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, direct line telephones, television, video and all the usual executive facilities in each room. Several rooms have four poster beds.
