"This is a three star, AA rated hotel, at 79% one of the highest ratings for a three star hotel in Falmouth. With the Restaurant gaining recognition by the AA for fine dining, being awarded a Rosette in July 2008. Set amidst beautiful surroundings, this Georgian house has been elegantly maintained and has an established reputation as a family-run Falmouth hotel for nearly 40 years.The Penmere Manor Hotel was once a Georgian manor house and is surrounded by 5 acres of lawns and wooded gardens. Although only a mile from the centre of the busy town and port of Falmouth, once inside the hotel grounds there is a feeling of calm and tranquility. This lends itself beautifully to hosting a wedding reception as it is exclusive yet accessible. Civil Ceremonies have become increasingly popular and the Penmere Manor Hotel is licensed to hold them in a choice of rooms: the Passingham Room, the library and the Manor Restaurant."
