"As you approach the Castle through the North Gate, the Great Hall, with its huge oak doors, looms impressively ahead. You alight in the paved courtyard by the ancient wishing well and pass into the warmth of the entrance hall, where a log fire burns welcomingly. The wedding party passes down the Long Gallery to the West Wing, which, with its wealth of character and atmosphere, lends itself so perfectly to the solemnity of a wedding ceremony. The Bride and Groom are welcomed by the registrar in the ante room before making their entrance. The ceremony complete the wedding party retires to the terrace for a celebratory glass of champagne and to enjoy the view. The sun warms the ancient flagstones of the terrace, conversation flows and photographs are taken - the atmosphere is convivial. The guests are invited through to the mediaeval Great Hall for the Wedding Breakfast."
