The BSP Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band ref: 4355
The BSP Band have been entertaining people in the Nottingham and East Midlands area for Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Fund Raising Events, Schools, Scouts, Village Fetes, Sports Club Socials, Corporate Events, Round Table, Rotary Club etc. etc. for many years.
For ceilidhs they provide a range of dance tunes. Their caller chooses dances to suit the mood and experience of the dancers. He gives complete and clear instructions to everyone and attempts to make certain that everyone knows what to do. The band watch closely and adjust tempo to help to make sure that everyone is successful.
Between dances the band entertain by playing a wide variety of tunes.
Repertoire is mainly English, Scottish and Irish. The band play a selection of reels and hornpipes Jigs polkas, waltzes or slip-jigs.
