The RV Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band play English, Irish and Scottish traditional tunes with dances including Blaydon Races, Circassian Circle, Three Meet, Bridge of Athelone, The Music Man, Gay Gordens, The Big Set, Pat A Cake, Lucky Seven, Virginia Reel etc. Taverham is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. This is an experienced barn dance band whose lively music is sure to make your event go with a bang. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Taverham. Wedding reception, anniversary or party - all are guaranteed a cracking good time! Their genial and good-humoured caller will guide all guests throughout the dances, judging the best dances to suit the guests and when to let everyone have a rest while the band play some tunes to listen to.

The DS Ceilidh duo is a 'micro ceilidh' band made up of box/bass drum and caller/whistles/flutes, perfect for smaller spaces or budgets. Taverham is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. They can also offer less familiar instruments, such as cornamuse, hulusi and bagpipes, and they can sing songs while your dancers get their breath back! The musicians have years of experience playing in ceilidh bands and their repertoire covers English, Scottish, Irish, American and some French.
