This is a vibrant eight piece band, providing a variety of music for social dance and listening. The band perform Irish Ceilidh (ceili) for weddings in and around Peacehaven. They are guaranteed to get your foot tapping! They play a lot of good tunes, some that are rarely heard in dance bands, plus some fresh arrangements of tried and trusted standards
The band comprises Fiddles, Melodeons, Flute and Whistles, Acoustic Double Bass, Percussion, Mandolins and Guitars.
They work with some entertaining "Callers" and they also have some fine singers!
An all Scottish / Celtic ceilidh band. The DB Ceilidh band are a lively, vibrant four-piece band playing acoustic celtic music. Instruments are fiddle, flute, whistles, accordion, guitar and bodhran. Called dances cater for all levels with an emphasis on fun. (Two left feet welcome!) They have a long history of music and friendship playing a variety of events. A great band for an Irish Ceilidh (ceili) on St Patrick's Day’s, or just to bring the flavour of Ireland to Peacehaven. The DS Ceilidh duo is a 'micro ceilidh' band made up of box/bass drum and caller/whistles/flutes, perfect for smaller spaces or budgets.
